Healthy eating is not about eating things you like or you have, it’s about maintaining Mental and Physical Health. To maintain them we take different types of foods, vegetables, and fruits as a part of our regular meal. Besides this, exercise is also a useful way to maintain our health both physically and mentally as it builds our muscles and brain cells along with food. But one important component of the diet that is naturally beneficial, and compose of unoxidized leaves is GREEN TEA.

Green Tea was first originated in China and then spread to eastern countries. It is the leaves and buds of Camellia Sinensis that have not undergone the process of withering and oxidation. Green tea offers a unique sensation taste, a soothing flavor, and a pleasant aroma. It is composed of a large number of useful components that are beneficial to human health.

Green tea is the most enriched source of the nutrient. It is fully packed with beneficial compounds. The intake of green tea reduces the chances of severe diseases like diabetes, cardiac disorders, and cancer. Drinking 4 to 5 cups of green tea seems to be optimal to reap the full health benefits. Being antioxidant-rich, Green tea can reduce the free radical level in the body which can lead to healthy metabolism and sound sleep at night.

The consumption of green tea is associated with reducing mortality due to heart diseases. Saponins and Theanine present helps in lowering blood pressure. It helps to regulate metabolism that keeps the heart pumping normally and reduces other ailments.

Studies show that polyphenols present in green can reduce tumor growth in the body. Cancer rates tend to be lower in countries with a high rate of green tea consumption. Caffeine present in green tea reduces stress and tiredness. It increases stamina and prevents a hangover. Increase alertness but a person with insomnia should avoid the maximum intake of green tea.

Green tea is so healthy for us that we cannot just put together its benefits all at once but this saying will clear all our thoughts and would make our mind start using it on daily basis.
